Welcome to ‘The Porthole.’ A couple of years ago my wife and I brought to life a vision we had for a seaside space in our town of King’s Point, and not too far away from our home. This place, which we often refer to as ‘the (fishing ) stage,’ was designed with a specific purpose – a place to enjoy time and create memories with family and friends.
Thus far, the Porthole has become just that, and perhaps a bit more. Nestled along the waterfront and complemented with a large deck and wharf, the Porthole offers the opportunity to enjoy that first coffee of the day in the tranquillity of an early sunrise on a glass calm bay, a place to socialize over a feast cooked for friends and family, and a place to end the day relaxing in the hot tub with the smell of the saltwater filling the cool evening air. It’s an atmosphere that inspires conversation and has a view that can sometimes leave you speechless. For these reasons and more, we have decided to give others the same opportunity to enjoy our special place.
The Porthole is rustic yet quaint, inviting and unique. It is perfectly suited for a great overnight experience during a family vacation, or it can be that perfect getaway for two.
At any season during the year, the Porthole is simply a great place to hang out or to unwind and relax.
